Dearest reader,

Before we begin the actual entry, I would like to tell you that this entry will constantly be updated as my doll progresses and levels up. So, chances are, I won’t ever be able to say that I’m finished with this one. In this entry, I will be informing you about the user levels and the privileges they bring, besides popularity. 

A user level is, according to Stardoll, a way of measuring the amount of time and experience a user has attained on Stardoll. A user will gradually level up as they’re earning Starpoints. The more Starpoints you receive, the closer you get to the next user level. You are able to earn Starpoints by finishing Stardoll Academy projects (located next to the option to change language, it’s a symbol of a person standing next to a tilted wall), unlocking Achievements (your Achievements are located beneath your Suite) and doing the daily tasks. You can find the daily tasks by clicking on the level meter in the upper left corner of your page and then clicking on “Earn SP” (see picture above) which will take you to a page that shows you what tasks you are able to perform. Each task performed will give you a number of Starcoins. You are only able to earn a maximum of 60 Starcoins per day, excluding your daily mystery gift. This causes the amount of Starcoins and Starpoints that you are able to earn each day to be limited. Each level will bring you new unlocks and rewards, which is the reason why people are striving so hard to reach a new level. This entry will tell you about the different unlocks and rewards that those levels bring. Behold!

Level #1: You won’t receive anything on this level seeing how this is the starting level and you haven’t yet accomplished anything, however, Stardoll is kind enough to start you off with 700 Starcoins and 12 Stardollars in the wallet.

Level #2: Ah, your first unlocks and rewards! When you reach this level, you will receive 5 Starcoins, the option to buy a black and white bag for 53 Starcoins and the option to buy a new chair for 10 Starcoins. Hurray!

Level #3: On this level you will receive 5 more Starcoins, unlock the chat and party feature, have the option to buy a crown painting for 5 Starcoins and you will be able to buy a pretty shirt for the price of 12 Stardollars. Yay!

Level #4: Y’know, some believe that if you find a four-leaf clover you will be brought good luck? Once you’ve reached this level, you will earn 5 Starcoins, have the option to broadcast messages for everyone to see for the price of 5 Stardollar per message, have the option to buy a corsette-like shirt for 8 Stardollars and the option of buying a small table for 10 Starcoins.

Level #5: Unfortunately, level five doesn’t offer a whole lot of rewards. You will receive 5 Starcoins and the option of buying a painting of a puppy in a pot for the cost of 10 Starcoins. I don’t know about you, but I'm dissapointed.

Level #6: Yay, the amount of Starcoins earned per level has increased! When you level up to the sixth level you will receive 10 Starcoins, the option to buy a dress for the cost of 16 Stardollars and the option of buying a frame for 20 Starcoins.

Level #7: Now that you’ve reached level 7, you will have earned 10 Starcoins, the ability to buy a penthouse for 199 Stardollars and the possibility of purchasing a red carpet for the low cost of 10 Starcoins. I can’t get over the price of that penthouse, it’s so expensive! o_O

Level #8: You’ll earn 10 Starcoins, have access to the clubs (one of my favourite features of Stardoll due to the discussion pages) and the ability to buy a blue clock for 30 Starcoins. I strongly recommend joined popular clubs!

Level #9: You will receive 10 Starcoins and a green clock for the price of 30 Starcoins.

Level #10: You will now receive 10 Stardollars, the option to buy a Beach Villa for 249 Stardollars, a new hairstyle that’s available in your Beauty Parlor and the option to buy a pink clock for the price of 30 Starcoins.

An Honest Stardoll Blog is, as you can hear by its name, a blog that gives my honest opinions regarding Stardoll, but it also gives some tips, tricks and tutorials for Stardoll. ‘What is Stardoll?’, you may ask. Well, the following is how the staff of Stardoll describes their website:

“Stardoll is the largest online community for girls who love fashion, shopping, decorating, creativity, and making new friends from around the world. Members create their own stardoll avatar, go shopping, dress up, decorate their suite, express themselves creatively and socialize with each other.”

Stardoll keeps many of their promises, it’s a wonderful website for people who enjoy the world of fashion and friends, but it’s far from flawless. This blog is partly here to point out Stardoll’s flaws, which isn’t a very difficult nor original thing to do and I would consider it to be nothing but unnecessary and cruel if it weren’t for the fact that I’m aiming for this blog to be more than that. I want this blog to be viewed as being constructive in its criticism rather than simply insulting. This blog’s purpose is also to serve as a helpful tool for the members of Stardoll who are interested in my help.
